Thomas the Tank Engine

This one is a toy of Thomas the Tank Engine, part of the wooden railway set. When I was a child a spent some time in the UK, where I became familiar with this character (who is virtually unknown in Italy) and with wooden railways. Modeled and rendered in Blender.

Bell tower

From my room at my parents’ house, in my hometown, I don’t enjoy a particularly exciting view, except for this bell tower (Campanile di San Niccolò al Carmine). At the time I wanted to model something without measuring it; I think the resemblance is acceptable. The texturing, on the other hand, is a bit careless. Finally, the sky is the result of some fiddling with Gimp brushes. Modeled and rendered in Blender.
